Sant Pau Hospital Operations House in Barcelona

The operation House is one of the St. Pau Hospital’s pavilions built by Lluís Domènech i Muntaner in 1911. The inside part, but, was finished in 1930, year that the operating rooms were opened. The rehabilitation of the pavilion reveals its essence, the temple of the anatomy and surgery, and, it’s, at the same time, testimony of the modernist’s buildings systems. The rehabilitation is very important to understand the value of the costruction systems of the whole modernist site of Sant Pau Hospital.
