Joan Petit i Aguilar library in Sant Feliu de Codines

To construct the building of the new Town Hall in Sant Feliu de Codines it was necessary to explode the existing rock of the plot. The building houses the Municipal Library Joan Petit i Aguilar on the ground floor, where the rock is clearly visible through the window of the courtyard of the hall. In fact, the rock ends up being one of the most significant elements of the library because it confers to the building a telluric aspect, which is harmony with the devotion and intellectual intimacy that the architectural design suggests.
