Bus depot of the rial triangle of La Sagrera

In the district of La Sagrera there is one of the most important depots of the entity Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona. The place where this depot is located is known, in particular, as The Rial Triangle because it is delimited by three railway lines and because it will house the high-speed train station of La Sagrera. The depot includes a spacious covered space to park the fleet of buses (312 in total), a garage for the repair and maintenance, and buildings for the administration of the company and the the workforce. Since the bus depot was built above an underground carriage depot, there was an additional difficulty in regard to the structural solution and the execution of the works.
