Théâtre de l’Archipel in Perpignan (France)

Our proposal for the Théâtre de l’Archipel consists of a center that brings together multiple performing features in a unique building. The look of the building, which is made of zinc on the outside and of wood in the inside ceiling, it supposes a kind of cold/warm contrast very much in the line with the dichotomy between the spaces destined to the public, which are on the side of the city, and the spaces destined to the artists, which are on the far side of the river. However, both areas form a whole thanks to the inner courtyard that, in fact, works as the visual link between these two worlds.
